The law firm BakerHostetler officially hired the first artificial intelligence lawyer. IBM makes the robot lawyer, and apparently, it will work in the firm’s bankruptcy practice — because what better way to test out a robot lawyer than by putting people with their lives crumbling around them in its virtual hands.
