UR’s master’s in computer science ranked nationally

New rankings by College Choice, an online publication that helps students select colleges, gave recognition to UR’s prominence in this field by ranking the university 33rd, nationwide, for master’s in computer science degree programs. Yale University was ranked first, followed by Harvard University and the California Institute of Technology. Cornell University was rated 5th. No other local colleges made the list. In making these rankings, College Choice considered a computer science program’s reputation, the success of graduates in the job market, the tuition and financial aid offerings by the college.
