UX + AI: Creating experiences around artificial intelligence
This month, we’re welcoming Dan Grollman, Robot Brain Architect for Sphero! He’ll be giving us an overview of some popular Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence techniques and how they may impact User Experience and Interaction design. We’ll discuss how constrained systems such as chatbots and recommender systems work, and the implications of letting users interact with unconstrained systems such as Tay. He’ll also raise some bigger questions around designing and testing user experiences over the long term when you don’t clearly know what those experiences will be. See you at 5:45!
