VC Roundup: Sense Infosys raises .45m, ExpertDB raises 0k, BonAppetour secures 0k

May 27, 2016:   Maritime data analytics startup Sense Infosys has secured a $1.45 million Series A round, consulting marketplace ExpertDB has raised a $500,000 seed investment and BonAppetour has secured a $500,000 seed round. Sense Infosys secures $1.45m Series A investment Sense Infosys, a three-year-old data analytics and data science consulting venture founded by former naval officer Stephen Chow, has secured a Series A investment of US$1.45 million, led by Jason Venture and Cap Vista. Jason Venture, a returning investor, is the investment arm of marine and offshore systems integration firm Jason Marine Group. Cap Vista is the investment arm of the Singapore governments Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA).The investment sees the addition of CTO Yong Kai Chin.
