The debate should give voters a clearer picture of how the next president will govern. But what we’re not likely to hear is how data science will power good decision-making once they’re in the White House. The president of the United States is the most powerful person in world. As chief executive of the U.S. Government, the president sets and enforces policies that impact not only 300 million Americans and the United States’ $18-trillion economy, but the lives and prosperity of other people and countries around the world. With so much on the line, one would think that the president would use every tool imaginable to help shoulder this hefty load.…
