3-day neuroscience conference kicks off

A three-day annual conference of the Indian Academy of Neurosciences (IAN) started at Panjab University here today. As many as 150 scientists besides several national and international delegates are participating in the 33rd edition of the event being jointly organised by the PU and the PGIMER.Director, General Life Sciences, DRDO, Dr Manas Kumar Mandal and PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Arun Kumar Grover inaugurated the conference today.Addressing the inaugural session, Dr Mandal emphasised on the need to develop an outstanding vision and setting a mission to meet international standards.
