AI Love You is an interactive show by Heart to Heart Theatre which discusses the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence. Putting the audience at the centre of this ‘choose your own story’ play, AI Love You allows the audience to create the fate of the characters. Through voting the audience are asked to make moral decisions that bring our own relationship with technology to the foreground.
Drawing inspiration from philosophers, Deep Mind, addiction to the internet/technology and some very creepy sex robots, Heart to Heart Theatre invite the audience to question what it is that makes them human and if a robot could or should have the same rights as them. What will happen when programmes are so good at imitating life that they ask to be treated that way? With AI becoming more and more a part of our lives, this piece of theatre begins question where the line is.
