Amazon announced its financial results for the first quarter, which ended on March 31, showing that its sales were up 28% to US$29.1 billion. Operating cash flow increased 44% to $11.3 billion for the previous 12 months, compared to $7.8 billion for the 12 months prior to March 31, 2015, according to a report. Net sales increased 28% to $29.1 billion in the first quarter, compared with $22.7 billion in first quarter 2015.
