Originally started by the Dana Foundation 21 years ago, Brain Awareness Week is the global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research. This year, SfN members hosted events ranging from Brain Bees to science festivals, to organizing a bus that drove around the streets of New York sharing information on the brain. Take a look at just a few of the celebrations that happened this year. The fifth annual Alaska Brain Bee, held February 6 at the Anchorage Museum, helped kick off Brain Awareness week events.…
