Harvard has a nearly unlimited number of social activities and personal/professional resources for graduate students. Biomedical Graduate Student Organization. BGSO exists to foster a sense of community among graduate students in the life sciences at Harvard Medical School. BGSO sponsors a wide range of activities, from ski trips to movie nights to a formal dance on a boat that tours Boston Harbor. BGSO also provides funds for DMS-related student groups that range from social groups like Anime Eyecatch to more serious pursuits such as Seeding Labs (a student organization that collects donated and surplus equipment to send to labs in developing countries).
