News: Developers targeted by latest product enhancements. HPE is continuing its push into the big data market by releasing the next version of Vertica 8 and HPE Haven OnDemand Combinations. The OnDemand Combinations, which was originally launched in March, aims to offer developers the ability to apply the power of machine learning to build next generation applications on the cloud-based offering. In addition to a pre-built catalogue of cognitive services and a drag and drop interface, the offering allows developers to chain together multiple machine learning APIs into combinations that can then be copied and pasted into development projects, the idea is that this will help speed up the process of building new and exciting mobile and enterprise applications.
