In the era of “smart” everything, it only makes sense that toys are getting smarter too. The question is: Are they getting a little too smart? According to Marketplace.org, the latest and greatest toys not only entertain kids, they “talk with kids, connect to the cloud, [and] employ artificial intelligence.” At the 2015 New York Toy Fair, Mattel introduced Hello Barbie, 11.5 inches of major buzz—and not all of it good.
