The emphasis of the research is on the action related processes in dorsal steam areas rather than on visual category recognition as such. Functieomschrijving The position is part of an ERC-ADV grant and integrated in the research that takes place at Maastricht Brain Imaging Center, which has access to a new MR-lab with 3 Tesla, 7 Tesla and 9.4 Tesla human MRI systems (www.scannexus.nl). The overall research project aims at studying the neural processing of visual and auditory affective signals in sub-cortical and cortical regions with high-resolution functional imaging at 3 and 7 Tesla.
